Review: Private Pool Villa Suite of Renaissance Resort & Spa Phuket, Thailand Free & Easy

Holiday is finally coming to an end *I think* Muahaha.I have been being dishonest to myself. LOL Here's the thing.
Last October, when I finally decided to open a boutique, I told myself,
"Alright, after this Bintan trip, I will stop travelling and start to work hard." What happened afterward?
Haha my boutique is not ready yet and I've been travelling to China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Jakarta and Singapore this year.
Yeaps, going to Singapore is considered as going abroad for me too since I've moved back to Indonesia a year ago.
I've been travelling to Singapore almost every month/ even weeks Zzz..

Anyway, today's blogpost is about our last day in Phuket. As mentioned in my previous blog post here,
We arrived at the hotel, later than we expected. In fact, I think it was way too late
as we checked into the hotel at about 12 midnight.
Btw, we spent our last night in Thailand at this Renaissance Resort & Spa located at Mai Khao.

Here's our private pool villa. Man! It was better than what we expected.
The room was not very spacious but comfortable enough for two.

Here's the view of our private pool at night.
Well, the private pool is small as expected lol. Bf was the one who booked this hotel.
I won't spend such money =P Will you? The room costs approx SGD 500+/night and to me, that's insane.

Btw, bf planned to spend the whole day at Mai Khao area, that's why he booked this hotel.
He heard and read that Mai Khao Beach is BREATH-TAKING and beautiful.
The only thing is that, sadly we were there at a wrong time. We didn't get to enjoy the whole Mai Khao area as it kept raining.

Here's the huge bathtub.

I spotted a white fresh rose on the bed. That's so sweet!
Btw, have I mentioned that bf was angry at me. Hahaha he blamed me as I insisted to spend more time at the central area.
That's why we were so late. This Renaissance Resort is really luxury and awesome.
Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to enjoy. That's really sad!
Bf was very angry, so angry that he decided to just throw me into the pool that night. LOL!
Then, I took a hot shower, washed my hair and head to bed and sleep directly. It's been a long day.

We had a great sleep that night.
The next morning, we got up early, washed our face, brushed our teeth and headed to the breakfast area directly.
Btw, this is the lobby area. As shown, it is very spacious, clean and simple.

It was raining that morning.

I look forward to the buffet breakfast very much.
It is a five star resort, so it is reasonable to have higher expectation for its food, right?

And...the food exceed my expectation!
Here's the buffet area;

Here's the mouth watering desserts section:

Some local breakfast for you? Sweet Potatoe, Banana & Pumpkin Fritters.

For the first time, breakfast buffet with freshly squeezed juice!!!
That's really awesome. Five star indeed!

Guess what's next?
They offered poached egg too. Not a lot of hotel offer poached eggs as they are difficult to make.

Here's my egg benedict with hollandaise sauce & bacon

We had a great & sumptuous breakfast that morning. All thanks to you, my future husband! =)

Btw, we need a buggy car to pick us up from our villa or to the lobby area.
All we need to do was just to make a call and they will arrange a buggy car to pick us up.
Here's how out villa looks like from outside.

Tadah! Here's how our room looks like in the morning.

It's time to enjoy our private pool wohoo!! The weather was good, at first.
It rained afterward. Blah!

Btw, that's a mango cake and a bottle of wine courtesy of Renaissance Resort & Spa. #Loved

That's bf inside the pool LOL!

After swimming, we soaked our self into the bath tube filled with hot water. WOoh!
#LifesGood

Nah! Know why I insisted to spend more time at the central the day before? Because our flight depart at around 4/5pm.
I thought since we've so much time tmrw, we should spend more time at the central area.
Unfortunately, it was raining all day. We didn't get to go to the beach, we didn't even get to see the beach.
That's so sad. What a wasted trip.

Instead, we spent our afternoon lazying at the lounge area.
I spent my afternoon surfing the net, checking my email and etc, bf sat at a corner playing games on his iPad.

That's a wrap!!!! =D
In short, our holiday was amazing and I wish to have more of holiday like this!
But, not during the monsoon season pls!

We spent THB 1400 for a limousine transfer from the Hotel to the Airport.
Well, we thought since the resort is located near to the airport, transfer should be more affordable or at least cheaper.
We were wrong. The hotel is located in a saturated area. It is not possible to get a taxi by our self.
The only choice is to get the transfer via the receptionist.

Here'a a free map of Thailand for your reference.

Here's the Phuket International Airport!

Can you spot my bf below? =D

After checking in, we went to Burger King and we fought. HAHA. That's a routine LOL!
I forgot what exactly happened. I think if I am not wrong, I didn't want to have Burger King and he insisted.
Then he said something like "If you don't like, you can leave."
So, I left without saying anything and I didn't even touch the food that he ordered for me.
He didn't chase after me too.

We met inside the waiting area and I talked to him first. Haha!
Wait, I didn't give in to him. I talked to him first because, I wanted to buy my favorite tom yum sauce
and all of the money was with him LOL! No choice, I have to talk to him.
So, I yelled "Woey, I want money" like a gangster. Hahahaha!

Then we gathered before departure and got into the plane together.
Then, we started to talk to each other and pretended like nothing happened naturally. =P

Btw, click here and read about Top 10 reasons why Couple fight on vacation that I shared a while ago.

Alright, that's all for today. I promise. For real!! Travel no more. I have to start my business asap.
