I knew it right!
'Natural' makeup VS 'Marilyn Monroe' inspired makeup
They are two extremely different looks! =D
Here's the story!
Last Sunday morning, I suddenly have this urge to film a makeup tutorial.
I think it is because I finally realized that I have not been sharing tutorial on my youtube channel.
The last tutorial video was published last October? That's about 6 months ago!
In addition, I received a lot of new makeup product to play with recently.
I wanted to share with you guys some of the awesome products that I have been using too.
Oh yes, I also want to show you guys a part of my awesome haul from South Korea!
You have to check it out!
To my surprise, I really did it!
I filmed a step by step makeup tutorial successfully! I even managed to edit the video on that day itself!
That's a miracle. Fyi, editing a video is not an easy task!
It took me hours/ actually a whole day to finish editing, saving and finally upload the video to youtube.
Here's the list of product I use to create my natural everyday makeup look;
AB Automatic Beauty Mezical Fiber
Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base
Innisfree Mineral Dark Circle Concealer
Les Ombres Eyeshadow by L'Oreal
Holika Holika Baby Bloom Powder SPF25 PA++
"Baked-to-last" bronzer by TheBodyShop
Holika Holika Midnight Owl Blush and Highlighter
Holika Holika: Luminous Silk Aura Highlighter
Holika Holika Love Fantasy Blush in Choco
Etude House Sweet Recipe Dear My Jelly Lips-Talk
Brushes used: The Body Shop, Sigma, Masami Shouko
Watch this now!
Here's the final look! A very clean and neat make up, no fancy eye shadow or lipstick, no fake lashes too!
I always like my make up to be a little bit shimmery! It creates an impression of a healthy glowy skin!
Ps: Oh yes, pardon my super messy eyebrow!
The reason why I keep my eyebrow messy is because, I am going for a sponsored eyebrow embroidery day after tomorrow!
So yeaps, I am spending my last few hours with my messy eyebrow. Haha!
Outfit of the day!
A lacey peplum top that I got from Bugis Street. It costs me SGD 15 only!
Bandage skirt sponsored by previous advertiser.
Here's a close up look! Gah! I am so fat! =(
Favorite bag of the month!
This diary book inspired bag is so damn cute I am gonna die!
Is that a book or is that a bag? It is a book inspired bag!
The moment I saw it, I told myself "No matter how much it is, I have to buy!"
Luckily it was affordable and without thinking further (I have 2-3 new bags waiting for me in my closet)
I decided to bring this baby home with me.
It costs me about SGD 49 from Orchard (overpriced) + But I gained unlimited happiness = Worth it! *wink*
Here's my makeup lunder natural lighting (in the car)! I love my hair so so so so much!
It is actually quite low profile (unnoticeable) when I am indoor, the bright pink and purple can only be seen when I stand under the sun!
So actually I think this colour is suitable for office lady too!
If you still afraid and think that the colours are to bright, you can always bun your hair up.
It creates a more professional look too, anyway!

Nah, after I got home, before removing my makeup, I decided to dramatize my look!
I drew a few strand of fake lower lashes!! They are easy, natural and very cheap! =D
Here's the tips: Use only liquid eyeliner with very very thin brush, I was using my favorite K-palette liquid liner!
The reason behind this dramatized look?
I decided to join the Indonesian beauty blogger challenge of the month: Marilyn Monroe Inspired look!
I am a huge fan of classic fashion icons such as Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn.
I decided to give my lips a bloody red colour by applying my latest Sweet Recipe lipstick from Etude House vigorously on my lip.
Yes, I applied the lipstick about 30x on my lip to achieve this bloody colour! LOL!
Now, here's the fun and epic time! The random mole!
Hahaha I think I look more like a crazy aunty more than Marilyn Monroe LOL
Tried different hair style..still failed!
How about a pair of gloves? Hm...finally!! That's the feeling, I think (doubt)!
Muahaha I had so much fun though!!
Dazzling with Marilyn Octoviani Tan Muahaha!
