Bali: Papa's cafe and restaurant, Kuta Beach and Temporary Swallow Tattoo!

Day Three in Bali!

Opsie! we overslept that day!

Initially we planned to have our breakfast at a restaurant near to our hotel.

However, by the time we reach, the breakfast section has closed. =x

I felt #guilty as Ardy and Lia have been waiting for us since 10am? =P

Instead, we walked to another restaurant nearby.

We had western cuisine at a place called the Papa's Cafe.

I ordered the traditional Spaghetti Bolognese and he had a cream based pasta.

Taste was just acceptable and as usual *expensive*.

By the third day, I finally noticed and accepted the fact that actually

there's nothing cheap in Bali.

It's just like a foreigner island of Indonesia - everything are highly priced, targeting at tourist.

After breakfast, we explored the Kuta Beach located just in front of the restaurant/ our hotel.

Kuta Beach is a surfer paradise!

Kuta is administratively a district (kecamatan) and subdistrict/

village (kelurahan) in southern Bali, Indonesia.

A former fishing village, it was one of the first towns on Bali

to see substantial tourist development, and as a beach resort remains

one of Indonesia's major tourist destinations.

It is known internationally for its long sandy beach, varied accommodation,

many restaurants and bars, and many renowned surfers who visit from Australia.

It is located near Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport.

We were randomly offered with a temporary tattoo service

by a young man and I thought..

Why not? The initial price he offered was Rp 40.000 (S$5-6) for a tattoo.

which is actually considered as reasonable.

In Singapore a temporary tattoo would costs about S$10.

However, as mentioned earlier, do not hesitate to ask for lower price! 40-60% lower!

We ended up paying Rp 15.000 for a tattoo! Like whaddd!!! S$2 only?

Hohoho... what a steal..actually I felt that maybe the price could be a lil bit higher..

as at least they try to do something for living..we should support them!

#HospitalityAndTourismIndustryAreAwesome

Hahaha I always have my thought for those who work in service line.

They are my heroes and I truly respect them!

Instead of typical roses, butterfly and all, I decided to get a swallow tattoo!

And bf laughed at me! =_="

He said, just need to add-on a house and there you go, the swallow nest! Haha..!

He's not fashionable! Swallow has been really popular in recent year!

You will see swallow in brand like Chanel, Miu Miu, Marc Jacob and etc!

Swallow tattoo is for fashionable people like me=P

Ehya! In case you don't know,

David beckham has a swallow tattoo on his hand too!

A picture of us while waiting for lift!

Now..Look at the view from our room! =D

That's Kuta Beach!

"Bali is one of the few cultures with origins in one of the great ancient cultures
which is still alive."

I looks much cooler with my swallow tattoo, don't you agree? haha!

Stunning background too! =D

Nah! Free of charge sunset view from our room #romantic dao!

Stay tune for the next post! =D
